Massimiliano Canzi spoke to the press on the eve of the match against the Ligurian team, for the seventeenth matchday of this Serie A Women season.
THE PREVIOUS MATCH AGAINST MILAN
"There's definitely a clear mental issue we need to work on, because our transformation between the first and second half of the match against Milan is unacceptable. In the first half, we dominated the game from start to finish, but in the second half, Milan deserved the win. So, we need to be much better at staying in the game and maintaining our performances in the space of a few days. We definitely need to work on our mentality, and we're doing it, but at the same time, on the pitch too, although it's definitely more of a mental issue than a player issue, especially since we fielded practically the same lineup against Fiorentina."
GENOA
"With all due respect to Genoa, who are currently in a situation where every point earned is gold, the outcome of tomorrow's match will depend on us. We've certainly looked inside ourselves and we'll have to be good at finding this strength within ourselves, and this holds true regardless of the opponent we face."

"It's certainly disappointing because Emma is an atypical player, a one-of-a-kind player, who provided us with unique solutions both during play and on set pieces. It's truly disappointing, beyond the fact that, clearly, it's disappointing for the girl as well as the player, but we're working on it and our hope is to try to get her back as soon as possible."
