The match against Napoli will mark the start of Juventus Women’s 2026/27 Serie A campaign. The opening day of the league season has produced some impressive numbers throughout the Bianconere’s history.
JUVENTUS UNBEATEN ON OPENING DAY
Juventus have never lost the opening match of a Serie A season: across their previous nine campaigns in the Italian top flight, the Bianconere have recorded eight wins and one draw.
That only draw came in last season’s opener, a 0-0 stalemate against Sassuolo.
Since 2017/18, Juventus Women’s debut season in Serie A, no team has recorded more opening-day victories than the Bianconere (eight). Furthermore, among teams with more than three Serie A campaigns during this period, Juventus are the only side never to have lost their opening fixture.
BECCARI AND ROSUCCI: OPENING-DAY GOALS
Two players in the current Bianconere squad have already scored for Juventus on the opening day of a Serie A season.
Chiara Beccari found the net against Sassuolo in September 2024, while Martina Rosucci scored against Pomigliano in August 2021.
NAPOLI ON OPENING DAY
Napoli won their most recent Serie A season opener, against Fiorentina in October 2025, after recording one draw and five defeats in their previous six.
The Campania side have also lost all four of their away matches played on the opening day of a Serie A season.
