Danique Noordman is officially part of the Juventus Women’s First Team, having joined from Ajax to sign a three-year contract with the Bianconere.
Following her move from her native Netherlands, Danique gave her first interview as a Juventus player.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS
“When I heard of Juventus’ interest, I was so happy and enthusiastic. I had really nice conversations with people who immediately transmitted good feelings to me. Hearing them say that they wanted me here, at Juventus, was an incredible feeling, it’s one that’s hard to describe in words. I also had the chance to chat with Danielle de Jong, we spoke about the club and her positive words gave me the right feeling about the opportunity.”
A BIG CHALLENGE, ON AND OFF THE PITCH
“This will be a huge challenge for me, I’ll play alongside great players, and I’m sure that the environment here will help a lot in my growth as a player. There will be new experiences off the pitch too, given that I’ll live alone in Turin. I’ll miss my family, and that’ll be the biggest difference between this move and previous experiences, but I’m ready.”
DANIQUE’S OBJECTIVES
“As a player, I’m someone who never gives up, I always give my all on the pitch and fight for every ball. I like playing further forward too, trying to get at the opponent and to create things. One of my biggest objectives for this new chapter is to acclimatise well and learn as much as I can; I want to grow both on and off the pitch. Then, of course, I want to win. This is a club that has won a lot of trophies, and contributing to winning even more is my main goal.”
