Catching up on the rising talent at Juventus Women, around Italy (and beyond), we open with a special mention for Chiara Beccari.
Born in 2004, the talented forward is on loan at Como Women, a team currently battling to avoid relegation to Serie B.
Chiara has scored five goals this Serie A campaign in what has been a very positive season, so much so she has been included in the shortlist of the 25 best wonderkids in women's football, compiled by the Goal.com, which explained her inclusion with the following description:
"Skilful with great footwork and off the ball movement, the 18-year-old has added a touch of quality and class to a team battling relegation, most notably winning a penalty and scoring a brilliant equaliser against parent club Juventus back in November."
HOMEGROWN TALENT AND MORE
The work at Juventus on bringing through young talent is constant, confirmed not only by Chiara's positive experience on loan and numerous other players around Italy, but also by the presence of girls who are taking the step up from the Primavera to the First Team.
This is precisely the case with striker Elisa Pfattner and midfielder Eva Schatzer. The pair made two appearances in Coppa Italia, to which Elisa also added one in the league.
If it's a question of gaining experience, then one of Juve Women's young new signings, Evelina Duljan has recently tried her hand at the Under 19 championship, and has done so with aplomb, scoring just a few days ago in the victory of Coach Piccini's girls against Inter.
In short, Juventus are continuing to show great care and attention to a project that is precisely aiming at the growth of new talent in women's football.
