Jeff Ekhator is a new Juventus Men’s First Team player. The Bianconeri have finalised an agreement with Genoa for the forward’s permanent transfer, and he has committed his future to Juventus by signing a contract running until 30 June 2031.
A striker blessed with great physicality, pace and the ability to operate across the entire attacking line, Ekhator combines a remarkable eye for goal with a strong willingness to make sacrifices for the team. These are qualities which, coupled with his young age, make him a player with great potential.
Born in Genoa in November 2006, his footballing career has unfolded entirely in the Ligurian capital. He joined Genoa’s youth academy at the age of just eight, progressing through all the ranks of the Rossoblu youth system before making his way into the professional team. In August 2024, he made his official Serie A debut, whilst two months later he celebrated his first goal in the top flight. Overall, his time with Genoa saw him make a total of 57 appearances across the league and the Italian Cup, scoring five goals.
These figures are a testament to his consistency and precocious talent. He is the only player born in 2006 to have made at least 50 appearances in Serie A over the last two seasons, and, when considering Italian players in Europe’s top five leagues and their respective second tiers who have made at least 50 appearances over the last two years, Ekhator is by far the youngest.
It has been a path of steady development that has also been immediately recognised at international level. After being a mainstay of Italy’s youth teams, on 7 June he made his official debut for the senior national team in the match against Greece, where he played a key role with a winning assist.
And now a new adventure begins, in black and white.
Welcome to Juventus, Jeff!
