August 28 is a special day at Juventus, as Weston McKennie turns 28 years old. It is yet another birthday he has celebrated in black and white since his arrival in Turin in the summer of 2020.
Throughout this long journey together, Wes has become a true mainstay of the team, making 231 appearances and scoring 27 goals. These figures only partly reflect the impact of a truly unique player. He is an unpredictable and invaluable asset, capable of naturally adapting to any role on the pitch. Whether as a deep-lying midfielder, a playmaker, a winger on either flank or even a defender when needed, McKennie is a master of all trades, combining a spirit of self-sacrifice, athleticism and a strong attacking instinct.
