Another new addition to the Bianconeri family is now official: that of Francisco Conceicao, who arrives in Turin on loan for the season.
Skill, technique and tactical intelligence.
Born on 14th December 2002 in Coimbra, Conceicao has always lived and breathed football thanks to his father Sergio Conceicao, a midfielder who played in many top-flight teams and who is now a coach (until 2024 at Porto, the team Francisco joins from).
Having developed in the Dragons' youth academy, Francisco made his debut for the club's first team in 2021, at only 18 years of age, and his impact was immediate: with his speed, dribbling ability and vision immediately making him a valuable asset for Porto.
A left-footed right-sided attacker, Francisco is able to play on both flanks, but he best operates on the right-hand side, which allows him to cut inside before looking to shoot or to provide assists for his teammates. His agility and quickness in changing direction make him a difficult opponent for any defender to contain.
One of Conceicao’s standout characteristics is his maturity on the pitch: although very young, he shows a tactical intelligence and composure that are rare in players of his age. He does not just make use of his individual qualities, but is also able to integrate perfectly into tactical systems, carrying out tactical instructions and working hard off the ball.
