Juventus and Dean Huijsen have parted ways, with the Dutch-born defender joining Premier League club Bournemouth on a permanent basis.
His adventure in Bianconero, which began in the summer of 2021 when he arrived from Malaga, therefore ends after three years.
After a very short stint with the Under-17 side (in the 2021/2022 season), Huijsen received his first call-up as an under-age player in the Juventus U-19 team, where his career took off.
In the 2022/2023 season, he made 40 appearances between the Under-19 and Next Gen sides, scoring ten times: four in the Primavera 1 league, three in the UEFA Youth League, two in the Coppa Italia Serie C and one in the Serie C championship. His strong performances among the juniors saw him included in the First Team squad for two friendlies in December 2022, against Standard Liege and Rijeka respectively.
These matches opened the door to the senior side, with whom Dean trained for practically the entire first half of last season, even making his Serie A debut against AC Milan at the San Siro.
Then, in January, he joined capital club Roma on loan, where he played 14 times across the league and Coppa Italia, scoring on two occasions as well.
Thanks for everything and good luck, Dean!
