This calendar year has been full of wins for the Juventus Women's team who returned to dominance in Italy by winning the League and the Italian Cup.
2025, on an individual level, was also an extremely positive year for Cristiana Girelli, who reached 200 appearances last January, extended her contract with Juventus in February, and was included in the list of players nominated for the 2025 Ballon d'Or in July. There is also the numerous goals she has scored, reaching 144 in total since opening her account in 2018, in just 228 appearances.
These Iconic moments combine to see our number 10 ranked 25th in The Guardian's list of the 100 best women's players in the world in 2025. This is a mark of esteem that, as already mentioned, Cristiana has earned on the pitch, game after game, performance after performance, not only with Juventus, but also with the Italian national team, with which last summer she played a key role in reaching the semi-final of the European Championships in Switzerland.
