On Thursday 11th September 2025, a press conference was held at the Allianz Stadium press room to present our two new Juventus players. Edon Zhegrova and Lois Openda.
Today's event was opened by General Manager Damien Comolli.
"I want to thank the players who have left Juventus for everything they have given to this team. We wish them the best possible future.
“We have tried to strengthen the squad and I think we have succeeded in doing so, finding the right balance between sporting and financial aspects.
“What we wanted to achieve was to maintain the backbone of the squad because we have a very competitive group and we did not want to sell our most important players.
“We chose which ones to keep and around them we added profiles that we felt were most appropriate to enhance the value of the team.
“We kept Pierre Kalulu and Chico Conceicao and bought in Jonathan David and Joao Mario. At the end of the transfer window we secured both Edon Zhegrova and Lois Openda.
“I would like to thank the owners for their presence and availability during these weeks of work: I was encouraged to push myself further, to achieve ambitious goals, demonstrating my great dedication to the club to make it increasingly successful.

Edon Zhegrova's Comments
"I'm happy to be here and grateful for the welcome I've received. I've always dreamed of playing for such an important club.
"Yes, I already know Jonathan David, and I think I can make a big contribution just like him.
"This is a club that wants to win every game and go all the way in every challenge it faces, that will always be the goal.
"When I played against Juventus as an opponent, it was an opportunity for everyone to show off our qualities. I'm part of this club now and everyone is helping me to integrate as quickly as possible. I've always dreamed of playing for a team like this."
Lois Openda's Thoughts
"I'm delighted to be playing my first game at the Allianz Stadium in such an exciting match against Inter. My best position on the pitch is playing as a number 9, playing across the whole front line. These are my main attributes.
"Choosing Juventus was an easy decision because it is one of the most important clubs in Italy and the world.
"There are many top players who have worn the shirt and from whom I can draw inspiration.
"There are many great strikers in this team. I know I won't play every game, but we will all work together to try to do what's best for Juventus."
